As proud sponsors of the 2025 Caribbean Investment Forum, Republic Bank once again championed this year’s event, themed “Smart. Green. Connected”.
This sponsorship served as a strong reinforcement to our existing partnership with Caribbean Export Development Bank and further deepened our alignment with the United Nations Principles for Responsible Banking.
Through the Republic Bank Investment Sprint & Business Pitch Competition, participants were encouraged to engage in dynamic discussions and live investment pitches which focused on key growth sectors in Sustainable Agriculture, Digital Transformation, Green and Blue Economies, and Logistics and Connectivity.
This competition further solidified our commitment to strengthening our regional footprint and exemplified the Forum’s main objectives such as:
• Showcasing the Caribbean as a premier investment destination
• Attracting long-term capital for sustainable development
• Building bridges between global investors and regional stakeholders
• Fostering innovation, inclusion, and ESG-aligned growth.
After three (3) days of pitches and presentations, the untapped potential of our region was positively portrayed, and at the end, two businesses emerged victorious.
We congratulate Mr. Michael Mullings of Chatflow, who demonstrated a service with the ability to revolutionalize customer support, with zero-friction tech, that can understand Caribbean dialects. His groundbreaking pitch earned him the 1st place prize of US$10,000.00
Our 2nd place winner, Ms. Tracy-Ann Hyman of Artel, produced a game-changer in ClimateTech, showcasing an AI powered disaster management & forecasting built for the region. This unique idea won her US$5,000.00
